I fell head-over-heels for a poem by GracefulDv - [link] - and couldn't resist an illustration attempt. Not quite my usual style, and done in the morning, so it's a tad different than I'd aimed for, but I like it enough to post it. *shrugs* The central stock image is 'asrei at door' by serp-stock.

Felt like doing something to contrast the brightness of my last few images and the poem by GracefulDv really clicked. *shrugs* Something about her word choice... and the image of a woman standing in front of a dark, closed door was perfect to focus on.
