I've kinda got music on the brain... I'm looking for mp3s of the songs from "Labrynth" since I can't find my copy of the soundtrack, and while I was hunting I had winamp on random play. This song came up... and came up again... and when it played for the third time in just under two hours I gave up, put it on repeat, and went into Photoshop. *shrugs*

The last verse, one I hadn't heard anywhere else, in any other version of the song, was what really caught my interest. I usually listen to Rufus Wainwright, so this one, with Cohen's voice pouring so much strength and at the same time so much pain, so much... gods, so much of so many things... meh. Boy with a knife, tumbledown buildings, sheet music and raindrops and beneath it all the deep red of fresh-drawn blood.
