Thirty - The Tourist v.2

"The first card in the Shadow Tarot is the Traveler, a seasoned wanderer setting out on yet another adventure, packed and ready for anything. Not so the Tourist, who has forgotten her socks, can't find the right map, has most of her baggage ending up in another time zone, and has been living off complementary peanuts for three days now. Frustrated, tired, she discovers her hotel reservations were never registered and wanders off to find another hotel, as this one is full. She enters the door... and rather than spending the evening in a dingy hotel room she finds herself whisked off by a mysterious stranger, secrets whispered in her ear, the calm vacation she'd expected turned into a dangerous, thrilling experience, one that changes her life forever. It is on this, her first trip into the wide world, that she gains the experience and the sense of poise to become the Traveler. The Tourist speaks of possibilities, of that first journey, of plans upset and what would be a miserable few days suddenly becoming a priceless chance to live the life most people only dream about. 'Don't worry,' this card says, 'because what you think is misfortune will shortly prove to be the best possible thing that could have happened.' No matter the difficulties your travel may encounter, the end result will be amazing."

*grin* Yet another card inspired, rather directly this time, by ~gregory-st-mary... in this case because the main figure there? Is her. Much niftiness. The picture was taken by ~voltcontrol and is NOT stock, used with her permission.

This is the second attempt at this particular card; the first one can be found here. I've lightened the background considerably, trying to make it look a little more upbeat; the danger is there, the mystery is there, but it should show hopefulness as well, that this is all a GOOD thing. Hopefully this second version is better.
